Cheap Used Cell Phones-Future Microsoft tablet may have 7.5-inch display, low price

Future Microsoft tablet may have 7.5-inch display, low price-Cheap Used Cell Phones-

Microsoft is aiming at smaller, cheaper tablets, as it looks to be more competitive in the burgeoning 7-inch and 8-inch tablet market.

Microsoft is working on a tablet with a 7.5-inch screen, decidedly smaller than the current 10.6-inch Surface, which starts at $499.. But don't expect it to be available anytime soon, said NPD DisplaySearch.

A future Microsoft tablet is expected to sport a 7.5-inch display, as the budding tablet maker seeks to reduced both size and price, according to NPD DisplaySearch.

"From the supply chain side, we're seeing the panel specifications, the touch module, the mass production schedule being made," Richard Shim, an analyst at NPD DisplaySearch, told CNET Thursday.

The tablet is expected to use a 7.5-inch panel with 1,400x1,050 resolution, according to Shim. That comes to a respectable pixel density of 233 pixels per inch, higher than the Nexus 7 and Apple's iPad Mini.

"Mass production is Q1 [first quarter] 2014. Apparently, pretty significant volume. Multiple millions," Shim said. He added, however, that production could possibly start earlier at a lower level then ramp up to mass production in the first quarter.

By contrast, a rumor out of Asia on Wednesday claimed second-generation Surface tablets will come with display sizes between 7 and 9 inches. That same report went on to speculate that Microsoft would make an announcement of some kind at its Build Conference in June.

But finding a lower price that's cost effective for Microsoft may take time. "They're looking for ways to cut down the price on their devices. So, for example, with the 7.5-inch device, they're looking for a touch solution that incorporates the panel and the touch module," according to Shim.

And they're shifting panel suppliers for all tablet screen sizes to get more aggressive pricing, Shim added.

Shim would not comment on price but another source contacted by CNET has heard that $399 is a target, though that could go lower as Microsoft gets closer to product availability.

By comparison, the 7.9-inch iPad Mini starts at $329 and has a lower resolution screen. The Nexus 7 starts at $199, though it packs a smaller screen and lower resolution than the planned Microsoft tablet.

And speaking of the Nexus 7, Shim expects that to be updated mid-year with a 1,920x1,200 display, a significant jump in resolution from the current 7-inch 1,280x800 resolution screen.

A Microsoft spokeswoman declined to comment.

cheap cell phones online-iPhone 5S and iPhone 6: What We Think We Know (Maybe)

iPhone 5S and iPhone 6: What We Think We Know (Maybe)-cheap cell phones online..

We're approximately three weeks away from taking our first steps into the second quarter of the year and we're already seeing many new flagship smartphones getting ready to go on sale.
On the Android segment there's the LG Optimus G Pro, the HTC One, and of course, the highly anticipatedSamsung Galaxy S4, just to name a few. However, as we all know, the biggest competitor to the Android market is whatever Apple has to offer.
The iPhone 5 has been a success, as almost every other gadget coming from the Cupertino-based company has been. However, the 6th iPhone (yes, it's a bit confusing, but despite its name, the iPhone 5 is the 6th iteration) is slowly but surely being overshadowed by what the competition is preparing to release in the near future.
With that in mind, Apple should be brewing something, and judging by the latest reports and rumors, the company is seemingly bent on launching two new high-end smartphones this year, one of which will be an upgraded iPhone 5 that will wear the "5S" moniker, with the other being the next generation iPhone 6.
iPhone 5S – What We Think We Know
According to the latest reports , the iPhone 5S has already entered the production phase. Allegedly, the handset will retain the same overall design as the iPhone 5, but it will evidently arrive with more powerful hardware. The 5S is also rumored to pack a new Apple A7 processor and a new, upgraded rear-facing camera. At this point little is known about the camera but given the already impressive nature of the camera on the iPhone 5 any potential improvement will be more than welcomed.
Several analysts have speculated on when the 5S might go on sale with no consensus having been reached – while some claim that the gadget will arrive in August, others predict a launch within the June-July timeframe.
iPhone 6 – Possible Specs and Features
Earlier reports coming from Business Insider indicated that the iPhone 6 might arrive with an oversized display (at least for Apple's standards), measuring 4.8 inches. The gadget could also lack a physical "Home" button and might benefit from full gesture control. One group has constructed several images of what the next iPhone might possibly look like. The photos don't depict an official render, but they have been designed based on the above guidelines.
In terms of storage, the iPhone 6 could receive the same treatment as its larger distant cousin (the iPad). If so, the upcoming iteration might arrive with 128 GB of internal storage.
Software-wise, the iPhone 6 is expected to introduce a newer operating system.
As far as the release date of the device goes, there is a tremendous amount of speculation brewing. iOS 7 could be unveiled in June during WWDC 2013, after which the iPhone 6 might go on sale a few months later, but no exact launch date has been confirmed.
In the end, a sought-after smartphone such as the iPhone will always attract a great deal of attention. For that reason a lot of leaks, rumors, fan-made renders and speculations will continue to pour in during the next few months (like the rumors of a cheaper iPhone made of plastic that have recently surfaced – but that's another story). Treat them accordingly and remember that nothing is official…until Apple makes it so.

Cheap cell phones online Upcoming iOS update likely to kneecap Evasi0n jailbreak

Upcoming iOS update likely to kneecap Evasi0n jailbreak-cheap cell phones online..

Apple's next iOS update could shut down a popular jailbreaking tool, a move that's been long expected.

One of the most popular jailbreaking tools for iOS could be snuffed out as part of an upcoming software update from Apple.
iOS 6.1.3, which Apple gave to developers for testing last week, reportedly keeps Evasi0n from being installed, leaving would-be jailbreakers in a lurch.
Evasi0n came out earlier this month and gives iPhone, iPod, and iPad owners deeper access to the software on their devices than Apple allows. The two key benefits for those who install it is that you can make significant changes to basic system software, as well as add additional apps through third-party software stores.
The software set records for being the fastest downloaded and broadest jailbreak in the history of Apple's platform, which has broadened from iPhones and iPods with the release of the iPad and iPad Mini.
Apple discourages the practice, saying it can cause potential instability of the system as well as apps. The company has a long history of patching iOS in ways that keep these exploits from working. One of the big breakthroughs for Evasi0n was that the software was able to get around some of these security measures and work on newer devices through an exploit in Apple's time zone software settings, something that's been fixed in iOS 6.1.3, Forbes reports.
Even with that fix, Evasi0n's creators remain hopeful. In an interview with Forbes, one of the software's creators said a number of other bugs have been found that could provide the groundwork for another jailbreak.
Apple's been pushing out the software updates hot and heavy to fix embarrassing bugs with Microsoft Exchange, as well as cellular network connectivity. Its most recent patch, released last week, fixed an issue that let anyone gain access to a user's contact list, even if they didn't have the device's passcode -- something that can still be accomplished through alternate means.
